Located 3/4 up the mountain, our YURT is the perfect escape for hikers, back packers, cyclers, motorcyclists, hunters, couples, small families and outdoor enthusiasts to escape the the busy city life and spend time in the outdoors in a very unique setting. Still located kilometeres above sea level with incredible views.
A yurt is a circular, portable tent traditionally used by nomads in Central Asia. It features a wooden frame covered in felt or fabric, with a conical or domed shape. A central support column and radial rafters give it structural integrity, and there’s an opening at the top, often covered by a skylight or felt flap, for ventilation and light. Yurts are valued for their durability, warmth, and adaptability to diverse climates. Modern adaptations can include insulation, windows, and other amenities, making them popular for eco-tourism and alternative living.
